Longer wheelbase= easier drifting?

Do cars that have a long wheelbase drift easier? I would think they do since they are more stable at speed....Does gt4 compensate for this? I noticed that longer wheelbase cars can hold higher angles and are fairly stable....anyone else notice this?

Anywho yeah in real life a longer wheelbase is MUCH easier to control compared to the short wheelbase, not sure about GT4 though.

i don't think i have made stupid threads...i'll just stop..if you ppl don't want to use the forums for what it is for...i just wanted your opinions...No one else seems to post anything interesting about drifting....all i see is the same kinda threads like settings this an that....if you look at my threads they are intended to spur interest.....sorry for trying to be interesting.
 
longer is alot easier because smaller is more twitchy and reacts faster/preciser than longer wb.
its the same reason why you want a smaller car for handling, because its more nimble. which means it responds quicker and more precise than a long boat of a car would.
 
Shorter wheelbase IMO is easier to drift, because it simply responds to everyone input much more than a long wheel base car. On of my favs for drifting is the Mazda Autozam AZ-1. Short wheel base is awesome I think

Just takes sometime to get use to...
 
I think dking is asking a very reasonable question, my friend and I were talking about this the other day.

I find cars with a shorter wheelbase are harder to perform looonnng extended drifts with. It could be coz these cars are generally lighter and being lighter they probably loose momentum more quickly. Then again it ALL depends on your style of drifting because we have seen people drift cars like the AE86 beautifully.

Hay buddy, settle down. I never said you made stupid threads. i was pointing out how many threads uve posted.

You edited your post for a "less agressive tone". Mate do what you want im not stopping you :irked:

i am settled down...=0D thus the edit...i just didnt' want to make enemies here....but i don't see a problem with the number of posts i have been makin....so i don't see why you had to comment on it....you're not swift....=0P Is it my fault that my posts stay on the first page ? :sly:

YOU WISH! :D :cool: and glad to hear it. Let's all take a step back and chill.

Yes dking has a whole bunch of threads. Some of them have not been to great but some, like this one are very not bad. So let's all just relax and have more fun with drifting in GT4.
