Bought it stock from the Chevy dealership - upgraded it with all the best parts from the tuning shop. Now just looking for tuning and tire recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

I bought one of these & have a pretty good tune going (but I'm sure it can be made a fair bit faster). I did the RM, ECU, stage 2 eng, intake & race filter, cat, exh piping, hard race tyres & LSD. I'm not sure if some of that comes with RM as I did it a few days back. I dropped the susp as low as it can go, added a notch to the rear rollbar & added 2.0 camber at the front. I think the LSD is set at 20/45/15 in that order & tranny set to 300kph. Give this a crack & see how you go. Should be something like 455hp & 1085kg. If the handling is still a little off for you, play with the front & rear toe but only in 2s or 3s (more will ruin the extra turn from the rear rollbar).

Thanks, Pone. I'll try it out. At this point, I've put too much $$ in the car to buy the racing mod.

I wish I understood tuning better...

Thanks!

No worries Gater. Tuning can be frustrating as hell when you have a car that won't drive well. I'm not an expert but if it helps there are a few basics I have learned. I always make sure I have some front camber (2.0-3.0). It gives more tyre contact in turns. If I ever have a car that doesn't turn enough, I set the rear rollbar higher than the front (that could mean adding to the back or reducing the front). Either way, have a larger number at the back to help with this. The opposite normally works with twitchy cars that turn too hard. Either add front rollbar or reduce the rear. Either way, have a larger number at the front to try to neutralise this.

Otherwise, I've found that spring rates & LSD settings will vary a fair bit from car to car.

Anyway hope this helps!
