Hey guys, just wondering if you can help me.
I'm in the process of building a triple monitor sim rig, but while I'm waiting for some monitor mounts to arrive I thought I'd work out what my desktop image(s) will be.
At the moment I've got a photo I took on my old EOS 5D, a fairly wide shot out of the window of an Impreza I was in whilst driving to the Nürburgring in 2007. It's not a great photo technically speaking but I think it looks awesome across two desktops.
Now I'm looking for a photo that is at least 5040 pixels wide and would work at quite an extreme aspect ratio, I'm not sure exactly what but it'll be 5040 wide by 1050 high, so 4.8 times wider than it is tall (not sure what that is in x:x). Ideally I'd love an interior shot of a car like an NSX, but as I know it's quite a challenge to find a high megapixel photo on the internet (half of the ones on Flickr are only available in 'large', it's rare to find one in 'original' size, let alone one that would work when cropped so extremely, so basically anything awesome would do. Also I'd prefer it if they were either not edited or not obviously edited, no extreme contrast nor HDR please!
So, do you guys know where I could find one, preferably for free? Otherwise I might try and see what I can do with GT5's photo mode, but I imagine it would be tricky to stitch the images together nicely, or I'll continue trawling Flickr to see what I can find.
