sorry in advance for the rant...but

i run a clean/street/pro room and I'm looking to meet some new clean racers. the group i race with is pretty serious about clean/respectful driving.

the stats i use for the room is grip:low, slipstream:weak, penalty:weak, and tire wear: very fast. Only ABS is allowed for driving aids. tires are no higher than sports soft.

i find its near impossible to find a room lately, that has any tire restrictions/tire wear at all. (450PP with racing soft tires and no tire wear makes me lol)

I'm having a hard time finding anyone who takes this game seriously anymore. anyone who loves running streetcars in a sane/respectful/competitive environment-hit me up. most common PP i race is 500-600

sorry if this thread should be in another section/flame away

Have a look in the groups and online race section. If you want some sensible racing then most of the groups will off what you're looking for.

Herein lies your problem. Outside of the league/series races forum, the people that do take the game seriously and enjoy clean, competitive racing mostly run same-car/stock/spec/tuning-prohibited races. The pp system is hit or miss and not everyone is good at tuning or has to time to tune cars for a certain pp... too many variables, all we wanna do is race. Same car/Stock/Street, No aids, level playing field, makes for way better racing.

I've hosted rooms where I start off with low horsepower. Those that stay after a couple races, I raise the hp. I pretty much cap it at 495-500hp race car & road car. Once past those numbers things get hectic with car control being the main factor.
Keeping it fun and quick, allowing some voting every 2 or 3 races and rewarding a winner with choice keeps things light.
I also introduce a couple fast circuits of my own and then back to a real circuit for variety. It also helps racers entering your room if you acknowledge them and advise them of the start time, hp/pp and absolutely no RED BULLS today!

I agree its hard to find a fair room and people that don't leave after the first turn melee.
