You can also try to get a 24 ticket and keep reloading it until you get the fgt in the color you want. That could take a bit since you can also get one of the ferrari F1 cars or you can get lucky too.

Sorry for my noobness - but a level 24 ticket? My A Spec is currently on Level 31...

You have to complete the endurance events in A or B spec or both and get a 24 ticket for each. Or you can trade for one from someone who has any.

this is the basic overview
This glitch allows you to permanently "borrow a persons car and own it.How to do this:
1. First, borrow a friends car you can only barrow 1 car at a time.
2. Delete GT5 game data, it's the first folder in the Game tab in the XMB
!!!!!!! WARNING !!!!!!!!!! DO NOT delete the save game data
3. Start GT5, refuse to download the patches
4. select a different car in your garage
5. exit the game and Install patches and enjoy!

doing this will be time consuming users that have done this have said 'it will take 2 or more hours to complete'
