This has quite a bit of potential, but it could also turn out to be the next "Willow." *cough* *crap* *cough*
I do want to see it, but I'm not building up my expectations as I did when Star Wars Ep1 came out. *cough* *letdown* *cough*
;)

yeah, i feel the same way... but I am hoping, in the back of my mind, it will be... I ned something new to be into, ya know?

Well, here's the inside story...

My mate went to the world premiere last night and he said it was awesome.

He had read the book when he was a kid and liked it, but was no Lord of the Rings nut. He just said it was amazingly real and incredibly impressive. I'll be there in the line on release day.

And most importantly....there's no Jar Jar Binks to screw this one up!!

This is gonna be an awesome movie. I'm part way through the first book of Lord of the Rings and it's damn good. Wan't to try and finish it before it see the movie.

FYI - The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings inspired Dungeons & Dragons and Advanced D&D. All those types of games were based on the books.

If you get a chance try to find some of Peter Jackon's (the director) earlier stuff. He's done some fantastic films, the last one (Evil Angels) was good, based on a true story), but he did two classic very low budget films, Bad Taste (biggest expense was the butcher's bill for the gore effects) and the immortal 'Meet the Feebles' an R rated Muppets.
