Why do I keep losing my FF on shift 2 with my turbo s wheel?

It works fine, but whenever I go into a menu screen and come out of it, it's just gone. The vibration still works but no FF. If I turn off the wheel off and turn it back on, the FF returns, but if I go into the menu it just stops whenever I come out of the menu screen.

Is this a fault of my wheel, or is it a bug in the game?

I seen someone else mention something similar earlier, but for the life of me, I can't find that post again.

One more question that has nothing to do with a wheel problem.
Why are there horses galloping behind me every once in awhile on the track? What is that sound suppose to be, it's driving me crazy?

I can definitely relate. I'm using a Microsoft wheel & my ffb keeps disappearing too. It makes this otherwise great game.....utter garbage. What's really, really strange is that PC & PS3 versions have an individual setting for ffb but it's absent on the xbox platform. I've made numerous adjustments to ALL of the wheel settings and to the individual car steering lock settings but it's still bad. Aside from this problem, most of the cars feel very "floaty" & I see that others agree on this. Maybe I'm just too used to GT5's outstanding physics?

Are people having this problem on the PS3? If not, I will take mine back and trade it in for the PS3 version.

I think it's exclusive to the Xbox.

Good to hear that the officially supported wheel is suffering too.

Might force them to patch it.

Can't see a patch coming for lag and anti boat effect though.

Really sucks as I wanted to support this game.
I can't however give them a penny and condone shoddy workmanship.
I just wish others would follow and maybe the developers would get there acts together.

Not just a rant at shift, there's many others guilty too.

It's been a bad run, F1 2010, GT5 (to some extent), TDU2, Shift 2 and I see on the official Eutechnyx forums that Nascar 2011 is also getting a hammering for being woeful. All have flattered to deceive IMO and it is becoming a worrying trend. Dirt 3 is the next big hope, will that follow suit?
