Lotus 111R RM & Maxi Turbo Rally

A couple of quick questions that I could not get answered else where.

For my Lotus 111R RM I am unable to upgrade the engine to stage 3. I have stage 1 but when I try for stage 2 it says please equip parts in the proper order. Do have to upgrade the engine before I equip race mods?

And has anyone tackled the Renault Maxi Rally car yet. Its as difficult to drive as the Yellow Bird but feels like it has more potential. More often I can throw caution to the wind with the Maxi but I am mostly always cautious with Yellow Bird.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You have to buy the engine upgrades in order, Stage 1, then 2, then 3.
But you don't have to do this for turbo.

Ya I got that part. I have stage 1 purchased and installed. Stage 2 and stage 3 are unchecked on the screen with no exclamation point. As if they're available to purchase and install. But when I try to install stage 2 it says: "This part must be installed in the proper order". I'm doing it in the proper order but it won't let me install the part.

You must do the race mod first - before buying any parts. That is why you're having trouble.
