As nearly everyone apparently found Rd. 5 too easy I have decided to up the ante slightly this week.

Round 6 will be my version of : "1 Lap Magic Driving Mission"

Round 6 Settings

Main Page -> Options
Select Arcade Mode
Race Laps = "1"
Tyre Wear -> Strong
Driving Assists -> None
Penalty -> Speed Limiter
Time Limit -> None

Go To --> Arcade Mode
Single Race
"World Circuits"
"Suzuka"
Select Lotus Elan
Transmission -> Your Choice
Driving Aids -> None
Tyres -> Road
AI -> +7
Roof -> Closed

At Race Screen -> Go to Quick Tune ( Red Toolbox )
Power + 20 % ( 124 HP )
Check Driving Aids "Off"
Check Tyres "Normal Sports" ( N3's )


Race Rules

Enter Race, A Spec Points Lineup in range 95 - 100

Chase down and attempt to pass everyone within 1 Lap

Then pm me with :

Finishing position ( Bonus points on offer for 1st. Only)

The others very nonchalent and casual but I bet they had to work hard
You are at a disadvantage coming from FM3 so you do okay.
We also have the chance to clean up in the Muscle Car Challenge, that will cheer you up 👍

I notice tire wear is at "strong" from where we left it on the first week. Is that right?

My bad. Slipped over that section of the settings somehow...

When you say range 95-100 do you mean between 95-100 or would for example a 94 point race be ok? I ask as I found a fast lineup (All RWD's) but it was annoyinly only good for 94 points.

I ended up redoing it with a different 95 point line up just in case, but it's still probably still worth asking.

I wont quibble over 1 point 👍
I was mainly thinking about those Races that turn up with a Hare up front that makes the Race much higher in points than I think would be fair.

Sounds so much better than you really suck.

Got my race in. A 95 pointer. Ran it 6 times. Lots of fun rubbing past the AI. Thank God you can't get the speed limiter when hit from behind by the mad guys you just ran, I mean rubbed off the road.

Great race, 96 point lineup, finished 1st, only 1 AI contact and his fault at that, he turned into the rear wing of my Elan as we're heading out of the S-curves and into the Gyuku Bank (or Anti-Bank) Curve depending on which map you look at!

I had a similar experience, managed a contact free Race except for AI crashing into my rear a couple of times.
Only thing not similar was my time

No entries from tricd04 or DJBaker this round and I had to file a protest at the time submitted by Crooooooow as it is clearly a typo.
Sorry.

It was interesting to watch as my run was almost identical except I overtook the lead Honda 2000 at the hairpin but was obviously slighter slower than you from there to the finish.
The quality of the videos provided by both you and smallhorses is very good, so no worries there.Thank you.
