Looks like EERS is the clear favorite at this point, great driving man. I think he has a great setup, and is a master at driving this track. I know I am wicked fast on this track too, but I think EERS still has me on it, particularly through the exit of degner and exit of spoon; the gap to me isn't all driving, but I think 2'02's will be mean you are extracting every tenth of pace out of a max-setup car. I'm still trying to figure out this whole tuning thing in GT5 as it seems like real life experience isn't really working too well, my best is still a 2'04.00. Goal today is find another half second...

He has found his equal. This morning I became scared after a man came in the practice room. Tony1311 came in and did something like 4 laps to end up running a 2:03,5xx. The only thing is I don't know the setup he was using.

Keep in mind that randoms don't know of the series restrictions. It is ALOT easier to throw down good times when you have gobs of torque from using the power limiter.

I bought another Elise and installed everything according to restrictions. It is not yet broken-in but i managed a 2'02.8xx with full tank. I believe a 2'02.5xx is possible.

Is it the crazy setup you shared with me? As you said it was a bit aggressive, turn 1 was not friendly.

So I stayed with my stock suspension setup and managed 2:02,9xx, my first and only 2:02

That's it for now.I'll do some further tweaking definetly. I told you it's a bit too agressive but it suits my driving style.

This series has got some fast guys involved!!!

Dont have the time with summer, but will be following to see how the season shakes out. Maybe catch season 2.

Good luck to you all. As well don't be frustrated by these really fast guys. It is good to run with top level racers. You will improve more this way then running up front with so so fast drivers.


Also, Piket aka Tony's GT School, recommend you pm him if you need help. Or you have hit that wall. I can vouch on behalf of his help. He has handed me advice in WSGTC. Really helped me improve lap times.

So if you was wondering or thought about pm'ing him. Do so. You won't regret it.

I recommend you make alternate plans by contacting us if you don't have at LEAST a half hour free during one of the qualifying sessions.

Second, me and ponybooy have been talking about it, and we both like this idea, as it's really simple and painless for you guys.

Whenever you're not using your car in a race/practice/quali/whatever, can you guys please set your cars to Online/Share with Friends status. Between the three of us, we'll look at your cars, and leave you a message if you're good to go or not. Everyone who races on Sunday will be required to do this.

This serves as a great way to make sure that nobody has any illegal parts (ie, Turbos and Engine stages) added to their cars.

Just as a reminder, even if you do not equip the parts during the race, it's a good idea to not even buy the parts for your car in the first place. Just to make 100% sure.
