What does it do? As a mid-engine car, I find the Lotus 350 to handle pretty well. Like all MR cars it tends to steer with the throttle as much as the wheel, but once you know that, they are easy to hustle around.
9 times out of 10 I find that general complaints about cars not handling mostly come from drivers who brake too late and overcook the turns. In general, you want to be almost done braking by the time you turn in. Then accelerate as you hit the apex of the turn. With an MR car, get on and off the throttle as you turn to adjust the line. Lifting throttle will tighten the turn and giving it gas will open it up a little. Stay in a low-ish gear so your revs are in the midrange and throrrle response is quick.
If you have the racing suspension on the car, go to the Change Parts screen and uninstall the race suspension, and reinstall it. This will put the settings back to stock. Then go to the Settings screen, lower the ride height by 20% and make the springs 20% stiffer. Drive the car that way for a while, remembering what I said above, and try to work with it. Then come back and tell me what it's doing and we'll talk about how to fix it.
