Just want to say the new homepage looks great, always enjoy a little facelift. Keep up the good work!
I really like it too, but I feel like this bit is kind of out of place relative to everything else. It seems small and doesn't fit the material design language everywhere else.

How big is your screen, if I may ask? You can find your resolution on this page. 2/3rds of the screen sounds like quite a bit more than what you should be seeing. I designed it with small screens — including iPads and mobile devices — in mind, so it shouldn't be that bad. That all looks real nice. Forum change is good too, but I have one issue. The always hovering top bar. I have a smaller monitor on my laptop and that combined with the browser bars (just tabs, URL, and bookmarks) make the amount of forum I can read limited to 2/3rds of the screen. And that's with the start bar always hidden too.
Can we revert back to the old format if we want? Or maybe have the option to turn that bar off?
15" Laptop, not widescreen. It's old. I know I'm in the minority. It looks fine on my phone which is an LG G4. I'm on Firefox, made it a little better by removing the menu bar and bookmark bar. I was able to put an icon on the tab bar that lists my bookmarks for quick access to my daily sites. How big is your screen, if I may ask? Disabling the "sticky" header is something I had been considering before launch. I wanted to see just how many people have problems with it.
I just realized, the "recent posts" button isn't on the forum home page anymore on my phone. Is there a way to get to the recent posts?
To add to Kyle's comments: if you're on a mobile device, those links are available from the menu that appears when you tap the "..." icon in the header, next to the alerts icon.I just realized, the "recent posts" button isn't on the forum home page anymore on my phone. Thanks for the kind words.Hi @Jordan, I love the new layout nice and clear fonts , well done for all the hard work on it and for keeping the same menus/format of where to go 👍
The only thing i struggled with a little (27" Monitor) is where existing users 'log in' usually on top right there is no drop down as I use a password not twitter log in. I hovered most places and realised you have it under 'Sign up Now'. Is there a quick way to log in or stayed log in or this the only way to go to sign up now
No, but the alerts should always be at the top of your screen; you should never have to scroll. Is there a way to have Alerts at the bottom like the old layout? Right now I need to scroll up to Alerts, and if there's a lot of content, that's a lot of scrolling lol
oh wtf lolNo, but the alerts should always be at the top of your screen; you should never have to scroll.
@DesertPenguin09, you can now disable the sticky header in your account preferences. 👍Or maybe have the option to turn that bar off?
I like the new site for mobiles, but one feature that hasn't been carried over is the name of the most recent poster in a thread.
Indeed. Sometimes I would go into threads that I wouldn't usually take part in simply because of the identity of the most-recent poster.I miss this.
