Love the new front page layout!

I really like it too, but I feel like this bit is kind of out of place relative to everything else. It seems small and doesn't fit the material design language everywhere else.

That all looks real nice. Forum change is good too, but I have one issue. The always hovering top bar. I have a smaller monitor on my laptop and that combined with the browser bars (just tabs, URL, and bookmarks) make the amount of forum I can read limited to 2/3rds of the screen. And that's with the start bar always hidden too.

Can we revert back to the old format if we want? Or maybe have the option to turn that bar off?

How big is your screen, if I may ask? You can find your resolution on this page. 2/3rds of the screen sounds like quite a bit more than what you should be seeing. I designed it with small screens — including iPads and mobile devices — in mind, so it shouldn't be that bad.

Disabling the "sticky" header is something I had been considering before launch. I wanted to see just how many people have problems with it.

15" Laptop, not widescreen. It's old. I know I'm in the minority. It looks fine on my phone which is an LG G4. I'm on Firefox, made it a little better by removing the menu bar and bookmark bar. I was able to put an icon on the tab bar that lists my bookmarks for quick access to my daily sites.

It shows the same Forums > Off-Topic > Site Support and Username - Inbox - Alerts bar but under that is another one for Latest Posts - Watched Threads - All Activity - Friends' Activity - Mark Forums Read

That's not on the mobile version and I have no need for it on the PC version as well. Just trying to help make this great for everyone. The example I'm thinking of is GameFAQs. The have a good habit of making their past formats available to choose between to you can change how the site looks.

I like the new design on PS4 browser. A lot of sites don't like the PS4, so it's nice to see no issue with the redesign.

I just realized, the "recent posts" button isn't on the forum home page anymore on my phone. Is there a way to get to the recent posts?

From the top nav bar: Forums -> Latest Posts 👍

My eyes bugged out when i refreshed on my phone, to see words in old people magnification. The irony is, I had to take my reading glasses off. You just saved me money at GEIC... uh, Specasavers. :D

To add to Kyle's comments: if you're on a mobile device, those links are available from the menu that appears when you tap the "..." icon in the header, next to the alerts icon.

Hi @Jordan, I love the new layout nice and clear fonts :gtpflag:, well done for all the hard work on it and for keeping the same menus/format of where to go 👍

The only thing i struggled with a little (27" Monitor) is where existing users 'log in' usually on top right there is no drop down as I use a password not twitter log in. I hovered most places and realised you have it under 'Sign up Now'. Is there a quick way to log in or stayed log in or this the only way to go to sign up now :sly:

Thanks for the kind words.

I do need to do some work on the sign-in link up there; keep an eye out for some changes.

Is there a way to have Alerts at the bottom like the old layout? Right now I need to scroll up to Alerts, and if there's a lot of content, that's a lot of scrolling lol

No, but the alerts should always be at the top of your screen; you should never have to scroll.

The Page layout looks awesome on my laptop or any desktop/TV usage. Mobile on the other hand feels a bit awkward to use but probably it will be better with time.
Can't believe we finally got a new update.

This is not fair. :( The facelift happened while I was asleep.
I wanted to create a thread about the facelift, I wanted to be the first GTP member to congratulate @Jordan :gtpflag:
