I won this car in the latest offering in the Seasonals, initially finding it somewhat difficult to drive. After tuning it according to Praiano, I tuned the power down to 650 PP, (53% power) with a teeny amount of weight added at 0% balance and attacked the "SUPER' race series in "Career" mode. That gave it around 524 HP, which seems low but......
This thing is the ultimate "Cheater Car", IN THAT IT CAN EFFORTLESSLY WAX EVERY RACE IN THE SERIES!!
Yesterday I started at the beginning of the series and steadily worked my way through every race. If I did not finish without lapping the field, at least once and usually twice, it was because I got lazy or tired.
Just a for instance, I finished the Brands Hatch race turning 1:13's, in the rain with race hard tires. Holy Batfeces Batman, That's pretty darn fast, even for a Geezer?
When I got to the Le Mans race, I was able to win at 650PP in the 750 PP race, but only "just barely" by not pitting at all because the car gets great fuel mileage and excellent low tire wear. I cranked up the PP to 700PP after the first win at 650PP, and won effortlessly, again, not pitting for rain tires but only for fuel, twice, because I miscalculated the fuel required for 3 laps remaining. OK, I had a senior's moment!?!
Anyway, this is a cool car. Although the visible aerodynamic devices for downforce appear to be absent, using the nitro button works the same way that the GTS-R and the X model respond to the use of the button, push it to reduce drag and increase speed quickly and release the button for increasing downforce and drag for braking and cornering. If you cannot pass the Le Mans Prototype cars on the straights, you can easily out corner and out-brake them and pass that way.
It's nice that you can paint it too, I used the Tesla red paint.....nice.
Cheers and have fun,
Pete
