so thinking about staring a low power race once a week, 250hp ish, maybe lower or higher depending.

a ff,fr,rr,4wd rotation each week. Possibly a money limit I.e 50k to buy and modify a car.

just an idea atm, let me know what you think and we shall sort something out.

uk time btw

I've been thinking about doing a series similar to something like this.

Although I would ban tuning altogether and set the specs so standard, fresh from the factory cars could race.

The biggest problem is finding a set of cars with similar specs and pp. I sometimes open public rooms and ban tuning and also only allow comfort tyres.
Keep an eye out online for "out the box racing" That's the room title I use.

Also on a sidenote, i notice you are only down the road from me. 👍

that's not a bad idea, I used to really enjoy the shuffle races in gt5. Low power cars with every sort of drive and engine size.

and I shall be looking for your race rooms.

so where abouts in the country are you?

I may go online a bit later and start a room. Not sure what the limits will be yet if I do go on.

Last few times i've had a room open it's been a bit more lenient with 500pp and min weight 1200 kg's with ss tyres max and tuning allowed.
It's been providing some great racing, all be it after i've evicted the odd trouble maker.

I'm just up the M1 not too far from junction 28, next door to Alfreton if you have heard of it.

ahh I live in a little village called pinxton, not far away from Alfreton, small world huh lol.

I had a room open yesterday for 400pp and people were complaining that I was cheating because my little micra was setup properly for that track and they couldn't keep up, made me laugh

You always get those sort of people no matter what. But it is funny sometimes.

How long have you lived in Pinxton? I know it very well. 👍

that's true, there's always someone trying to put a downer on everything.

we have lived in pinxton for just over a year now, lived in jacksdale for around 16 years before though.

If you liked clean low pp base shuffle in GT5, this club may be for you:

👍

No tuning, lots of road cars, lots of vintage, lots of low power, lots of fun.
