Hey All,
I've been trying to figure out if LSD tuning has any particular relationship to vehicle horsepower/torque. For example, if I take a stock S2000 and tune the LSD to my liking, then I mod the car to increase horsepower, will I need to re-tune the LSD assuming no other changes have been made? I've been trying this out and it seems like the same LSD settings work regardless of power.

I would really like to figure this out as I am getting close to finishing something I think you all will like quite a lot. Or at least those of you with iPhone/iPod will ;)

Thanks!

yeah, LSD has a relationship with torque. You might not necessarily need to change your LSD settings though if you increase torque output of your tune, especially if your car has bad LSD settings to start with.

Thanks for the replies guys. So assuming my LSD settings are good, what would you expect to happen to them as torque increases? I'm thinking about this in general terms rather than for a specific vehicle.

Thanks for the tune link Takumi - I'll check it out!

I would assume that as long as the torque curve stays nearly the same the lsd would not need changing to much but maybe equal amounts .
