Lurkers – show thyself!

Right now there are over 400 guests, and almost 30 in the Rumble Strip alone. Everyday thousands of lurkers view GTP – but don't make a single post.

So, for those of you who are just lurking around, please give us all a chance to meet you.

Alright, fine then.......although i dont lurk as much as others, i do post occasionally from time to time. But why do i get the feeling that everyone here hates me? Even if i don't know them, they ignore me. Or maybe it's just me. I dunno.

I would rather they don't join if they don't ever post or they make stupid posts. I can name a ton of new members that need to be banished. I think if these lurkers are going to join, then at least the contribute something worth while.

I’m on GTPlanet a lot of the time basking in the shadows. I hardly post mainly because other people beat me and say basically the same thing as I would. I also possess horrible sentence construction techniques as demonstrated above.

I’m online whenever I can be, mainly going through old threads for some good laughs or viewing the GT4 forum, I'm an active lurker.

I just watch things unfold amongst you lot, are dare make any comment cos I generally screw things up.

Sometimes, I lurk for days, but that is only cos this crappy computer keeps closing down cos it has a 'TROJAN' virus, or summink like that. It pisses me off, I like interfearing in these forums

Well you need to try a little harder to go "under the radar"

You're one of the biggest postwhores here, how the hell does that make you a lurker?

A lurker is somebody who looks around and doesn't post, not somebody who posts 15 times a day!

I've noticed how last year, we were wowing the 10,000th member, ever since Jordan made in mandatory to register to view GT4 Content, we've had a total of 50,000 members.

When I'm at work, I use my cell phone to read GTP on wireless web. If it's between 8:30 - 5:30 M-F(some Saturdays), I'm registered as an guest.

Yeah, I lurk quite a lot. The web crawlers will show up as guests when they're indexing a site. I once saw over 300 spiders logged in at the same time (!!) on another forum I moderate.

I've gone from one of the most active member at GTP to a lurker. Now, since I'm sort of unknown I guess, I'm bashed for any and everything stupid I say. Maybe the rest of the lurkers see bashing and are afraid to post? Maybe not though.

I'm definetly not a lurker in the conversation forums but every where else I just lurk, I barely post anywhere else then the conversation forums. Plus I don't believe that posts count there so that's probably why my post count has slowed down. But who's counting?
