Your video is pretty nice. Some of those corners I was just cringing at the fact that you didnt keep the drift going. Or that section you could have linked the esses with your AE86 (don't know the real name) about 80% through the video. Keep up the practice and you will be linking those corners like a beast.

I liked the editing job when you came down the huge downhill part to the hairpin, threw it sideways, and then cut to that yellow rx7. That was the best one in my opinion.
 
It was ok. I was expecting abit more drifting from it. The song choice IMO, was kinda bad. Next time, try to push the envelope further, I know you can make it. It looks like your just drifting in the comfort zone when at first glance. I"m not too sure.

I'm going to have another look.
 
hahaha, i like the song but then i am Initial D fan boy and cant get enough of it. some of the drift was really nice, but some of the other one could use a bit more angle like the yellow rx7, still good none-the-less. keep at it!!

btw how did u get the GC8 in blue? all i found was gun metal and white
 
nice video, The drifting wasnt as good as it could have been but the effects and your general idea was very nice.

A few more shots at it and you can have a really nice polished drift vid 👍

That was very much Eurobeat.

As far as the vid. Very smooth drifitng. NOt much angle except for the WRX. but very smooth. I was iimpressed with the exits.

Ah, yet another Initial D Style vid. Oh well, it was done in good taste so no big deal.

Go for that angle next time! :)

You also need a gas pedal, which is something I seem to have lost.

Wow, after reading what everyone said and then watching the video, I'm surprised.

I got the feeling it wasn't gonna be that good, but I must say I loved it! This is by far one of the best GT4 vids I've seen so far. In the top 5 for sure. There *were* parts that could have used more drifting, but I liked the lines you were taking, and I especially liked the speed you were taking them at :) :cheers:

Oh, and the eurobeat was AWESOME.

Uh...Hmm. Here's the thing. It wasn't presented in bad taste. He made effort. And it was clean. In my book that means that the drivere deserves at least SOME credit for making the vid.

Please, it's good to critique vids, but in cases like this there needs to be positive reinforcment. Who wants to listen to a person that just rags on them and tears down their effort? :irked:
 
Thanks for the input guys! I'll work on getting some bigger angles for my next video. As far as songs go, all I've got are Eurobeat and Rap :crazy: ... so I might be stuck for a while. Any more suggestions?
 
I think I'll just leave out the music in my next video, cuz some people like some kinds of music, and other people like other kinds. I don't really like the rock, or industrial type music you guys are talking about. Since I won't be able to please everyone with my choice of music, I think I'll just leave it out...

Linkin Park is wanky baby music.

Industrial is more like Static-X, Dimmu Borgir, NIN, Manson, etc..

IMO the best drifting music is techno, it's free of the emotional charge that most rock bands have. As for Eurobeat......please, no more :yuck:. I like listening to techno (or trance) when I drift because it's pretty basic listening, no lyrics (just sparse vocals), a simple sound that's just cool to listen to. My fave techno songs are "Acid Bood" by Fatboy Slim, and "Blood is Pumpin" by Voodoo and Serano. Occasionally I listen to some Du Hast by Rammstein, it's not techno, but it's good none the less.

By the way, those songs are linked to the MP3s on my server so you can DL em :sly:.

Pssh, use whatever song you want. :crazy: If you want to use Eurobeat, use it! :) I liked the song anyways. :lol: Lots of picky people on these message boards :P
