M4 is possibly fastest in a straight line.

Using the gr4 M4, if you change gear at 6250 rpm it is faster than the Atenza in a straight line

I noticed that too. Short-shifting to 7th gear before the first chicane at Monza offers optimum speed for that car, but it's slow coming out of that chicane and ends up losing pace. I wanted so much for the M4 to be a successful alternative to the Atenza, but it looks like any Gr.4 event should be renamed "Atenza Cup" because no other cars are competitive.

Depends on what you're after. I enjoy racing and had a whale of a time in my Aston GR.4 at Monza. Started last, finished 8th. Could I have done better in an Atenza? Maybe. Would I have had as much fun? Probably not.

Stop thinking that your finishing position is the only positive outcome from a race in Sport mode and you'll have a far better time

This week's races are one hell of a fecal pit. It's neither fun nor useful to drive against such people and with these absurd penalties. And I love driving my M4 but it's ridiculous like this.. The players right now are a disaster and when I'm in the braking zone braking for the first chicane, one hits me on the back who was 0.6 seconds off and I get a 3 for THIS seconds penalty because of collision with another vehicle. Then it's all just ridiculous. I'm pissed off and I don't feel like it.
