I Have raced many Mach 1 mustangs and have always beat them by a long shot. I decided to buy one and tune it up. I usually drag the Mach ones with my charger, chevelle, and now my cuda and end up winning. I raced a charger and a cuda with my Mach 1 and lost pretty bad. Is the Mach 1 even a good drag car?

In all reality, since the horsepower & weight is similar to both the SVT Cobra & Mustang GT, it should get similar times. But for some reason the premium mustangs are slower and can't keep up. Same deal with the trans-cammer, should be 9.9 car but stuck in the high 10.1s.

In real life, the car is faster than what GT5 makes it out to be. Shake sums it up just right.

Ive found that the older and slower they are,the harder they get to tune, they are as competitive as anything else racing against their own kind,if not more. You miss a shift point by a couple hundred rpms, you cant recover. And if you want even more fun,get a couple buddies to tune em with the stock 4 spd, rely on suspension, theres some serious competition then

Yeah that can get pretty crazy.
