Being someone who likes to view anything zombie-related...especially if it's different, I finally got around to this one.
I first saw the cover when the DVD released and thought: "That's Arnie and the woman behind him looks like she is infected - this could be interesting." Turns out the Little Miss Sunshine's Abigail Breslin is his opposite.
It took a while to get the film (hey, I work in a supermarket for a very limited number of hours per week) and I must say that it was a very strong film. It's slow in pace, but takes a very different look at the whole story of a global viral 'necroambulist' outbreak.
People have slammed it because it isn't a typical 'Arnie' film - clearly they didn't bother with looking at the cover: http://www.filmandtvnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Maggie-Quad-Poster-e1435002637519.jpg (that's the UK cover by the way.) Or in some bizarre cases...not a zombie film...which I don't understand.
Without saying too much, all I can suggest is bring an open mind with you and watch it right to the end - it's emotional.
