Gran Turismo 5 has the best graphics of course of all the GT's-- we all know this-- BUT the game lost a little something in transition. The biggest thing being NOT ABLE TO SELL CARS !!!!! This little faux paux causes things like ridiculous racing for hours to gain a little cash so purchases can be made. It really took fun out of the equation when I had to race the Indy circuit about 107 times just to get money for a car!! Sheesh- that was dumb. THEN all the trying to figure out when the car would come up for sale and constantly checking the car list. I'd rather try to catch fleas in the back yard than go thru that. Please lets get it down!!! No mistakes on #6 please!!! Do it once- do it right. It would be great to have a combo of GT4 and GT 5 and then have new stuff for GT6. I would pay more money to be satisfied. I can afford it of course BECAUSE I am a video race car driver. I race . I win. I need the speed. Plus I don't get into all the stupid junk video girly boy shoot thugs games. Racing games rule. Do it now. Excuse me I have to go Qualify at Silverstone Raceway.

Your post is really confusing and contradicting. You say you want to be able to sell cars pretty much for the quick cash to buy other cars, right? You then complained about having to do one race over an over to get a certain car, right? Then you said you only play racing games and want to win, right?

Why bother with the quick cash when you'd be racing to win (and get paid), and for the fun of it? What do you think racing is all about? It's about, well, racing! If you're looking for quick cash, look for races that have a higher pay out!

I don't see the issue of selling cars as being monumental. I owned over a thousand cars in my GT5 garage when last I played, and never once,did I sell any cars. I generally don't sell them in Forza, either, although I did sell a few in the auction house upon discovering that I accidentally acquired duplicates I didn't want. There are plenty of other ways GT needs to improve, but on the car-selling front it needs an online auction house.

1. Selling cars that you have no use for can get you cars that you want. Just like in the real World. Right? The cars you want are used to progress in the game. If I sell a bunch of low performance cars to put money towards better cars to win higher class races- well that helps me progress to the higher levels in the game faster. What is contradicting about that? The used cars on the list of used cars are timed as to when they are available. A car is available on the list and after progress in the game it moves on and the player has to wait for it to come back around after racing more races and progressing in the game. So if you run a bunch of races - that moves the car on the list forward in time and it (the car you want)eventually comes back on the list. While you are waiting for the car to come back you are winning money to buy it with. Right? Well if you can sell cars you don't have to be racing the same races over and over to get money. "Contradicting" may not be the right word here.

do. I actually think the reaction to my post is from the fact that I was a bit in your face about being a good video driver. But you can sell cars in GT5. It's just that you can't sell cars that have a original price over or near 1 million credits.

What people are saying about your OP is that it is confusing to read and the point that you are trying to make is not exactly clear. The way I see it, you are complaining about GT5 because the payout for races isn't high enough and the fact that you can't sell cars approximately worth 1 million or more. Well, to earn money quickly on GT5, why not try out the Seasonal Events? My favourite is the Drift Trials and the Time Trials, because I only need to slide a car around a couple of corners to get about 1 million (Drift Trials) and I only need to do a couple of laps to get the same payout (Time Trials) providing you have the 200% bonus which also helps.

Also, a word of advice; it's not good to challenge other members here and to make yourself seem that you are greater than them. We are all equal here at and we all deserve the same level of respect. And if you just remember one thing from this post, don't mess with Moderators/Admins/Jordan because you know what they can do to you. I also agree with daan that you should cut down on the rants, especially if they are pointless because you're just making the site more cluttered. And if you have to write up a rant, make sure it contains a tidy structure and actually makes sense, unlike your rant.

Roughly 90% (well seemingly sometimes) of the forum expresses their feelings in a 'less than positive' way about GT5. Everything is usually all tolerated as long as the main point of discussion doesn't veer off course. This thread is nothing special though, so... might as well hit the road...lol.

Harassment? We're just trying to solve each other's problems here on gtplanet. It seems to me you are the one who's being very uncooperative.

Some people here just pointed out the problems in your complaint. And they also help explain what you can do in GT5 and what the problem with what you want is. Plus, you didn't make yourself very clear about what you think is wrong, and you refuse to make it clear. Challenging other people, especially moderators and admins, isn't going to benefit anyone.

If you've banned yourself, good, because well, you're the kind of person gtplanet will be better without.
