maken a giff (picture that moves)

just wondering if any one knows how to make pictures that do different things( think its called a giff) such as like the pic is a stock car then next second its dumped on rims or something
any help will be good thanks

It's .gif.

Right, the way I do it is by using Photoshop Elements. I open both the pictures I want to be in the .gif, then re-size the pictures to the size I want it (for example an avatar size). I highlight the whole of one of the images using the "lasso" tool, then click and drag the image using the "move" tool onto the other picture (you can do this with as many different pictures as you want). Match it up, save it as a .gif, while ticking "save layers as frames", then a new window pops up. Tick the box "animate", so that the pictures flick between each other. You can choose how fast you want them to flick between each other and adjust the size too. Save, and you're done!

I'm sure there are many other ways, but this is the only way I do it.

I download a free 15 day trial ".gif animator" once in a while. Thats what you need. A .gif animator like mentioned above. I think I used to use the Ulead Gif Animator. Thats how I made my avatar.

do you mean like putting pictures together?

if so use windows movie maker [comes with windows xp] i love it, but you can only save it as a mswmm or something like that no giff

You have to actually click "save to my computer", and it exports it as a wmv which can be opened in media player

Strictly speaking, gifs don't have to be animated. My avatar is a gif, and it isn't moving What you need is a program that you can create them with. Lots of stuff can do it, just google "animated gif creator" and see what comes up. I use adobe imageready, which comes with photoshop and costs a packet
