On Sunday, May 11, Ubence Ybarra was beaten to death in the Dallas, TX area.

The disturbing thing is, while he was being beaten, bystanders chose to videotape the incident on their cellphones instead of stopping the fight.

8 days later, on May 19, Ybarra succumbed to the blood trauma in his head.

Despite all the bystanders, nobody has come forward yet with any tips on who the murderer might be.

Really makes me question us humans sometimes.

For starters, there is a bit of a difference between beating someone to death and fighting someone and having them fall and hit their head causing death. Fighting is dumb and this story is a good reason why but based on what I've read there is no reason to believe he was intentionally killed.

Intercepting a fight can be a dangerous proposition, kudos to those who do but I can understand those who don't. It's also kind of odd how something that disturbs you, people recording a fight, is something that could be used to catch the culprit. Crazy how that works, ain't it? :dopey:

Bystander effect.

Do you jump in to help and get hurt your self or do you watch/record and be safe.

Where are you getting this bit of information? There also seems to be very little information on the actual incident, it could be that Mr. Ybarra initiated the fight and the other person was only defending themselves, these kinds of things do happen.

Press conference on the occurrence.

Local news here had a big thing about the bystanders filming it.

I saw this on the news not too long ago. Those kids who took part all deserve to be put away for a long time.

That they only just released a month after the incident?

The murderers have still not been caught, it's mainly to remind us of the incident and advertise the reward now up. I see nothing wrong with that as the main point of this all from my perspective at least is the fact that all these people simply watched as this man was injured to the point that he would soon die.

I agree. People always wonder why I'm so calm during an intense argument or situation. I just don't like fighting and arguing. It's not like I feel as if I'm prone to losing one.. It's just stupid. There are too many ways where someone could get hurt by the simplest move.
