When I first heard that the Bel Air is coming to Forza, my immediate response is to make it an awesome gasser for drag racing.
I went to test this out on my el Camino today and bought the race suspension and turned up the ride height to max but it appears the suspension at least visually stays at the stock race suspension ride height. Is this common with all cars in Forza?
I hope this isn't the case. I know at least with premium cars in GT5, I can manipulate ride height and camber and you can see it visually on the car. Was hoping the same in Forza.
If not sure what a gasser is, example is the pic below:

I know that it does show the change visually, I just think that the height differences aren't enough to cause a drastic change.

Well yeah, it changes if you go from say stock ride height to race ride height. Have you noticed it beyond that?

I mean I've tried it with the adjustable suspension (not on the Bel Air mind you), and there isn't much of a drastic height change. I wanted to make a raked suspension on the El Camino and with the height all the way up in the rear, it doesn't seem to add much as say in Gran Turismo. Doubt you'll be able to get a gasser stance with the Bel Air, or any car for that matter.

hmm. Yeah. I guess I figured going from the 4" height after I added the race suspension and then went to the max which was somewhere around 8" that I would see (more of) an increase. I guess I can always test it on cars I have free upgrades with and it won't cost me more than time. Oh well.
But yeah, now that I think of it, I remember some cars had really significant adjustments in GT5. You could make some really rockin' VIP cars.

It seems like the height adjustments made in the tuning menu are only shown in-race. The ride height drops shown in the Upgrade shop are the only ones shown in your Homespace. Seems strange to not have our settings represented in both: I assume crazy cambers also won't show in the Homespace. I built a silly Hummer with maximum rake and while it just looked slammed in the menus, in races it looked pretty front-heavy...

Thanks slip. Good news at least. Hope with the bel air I can get a pretty tall stance and find someone to create that weathered, worn body style. Would make for a sick drag car.

If you go onto test drive mode you can tune the car and adjust settings while on track. And when you make the rear higher, as soon as you unpause the menu you see the rear of the car go up slightly.
