Manufacturer races

Hi guys, you surely remember manufacturer races in previous GTs. I miss them very much it used to be very funny and challenging for me. It would be nice to have these races in GT6 - more races, more fun.

So. For example: when you open Lamborghini dealer, there should be an option to choose cars and races (maybe also new cars and used cars the way it was in GT2).

Okay, now, there should be a race for each car that can be bought in the (new) cars dealer eg. Gallardo cup, Murcielago cup, Aventador cup and hopefully Veneno cup and so. As a reward for 1st position should be a modified car eg. in Gallardo cup, the reward could be a DTM Gallardo, in Aventador cup, the reward could be an Avenator RM or in Murcielago cup the reward could be a Twin-turbo Murcielago.

Ok and there should be a final "Lamborghini Championship" with all cars from Lamborghini brand, with restrictions of course (PP, tyres) and the reward for 1st position could be some rare car, which of course cannot be bought, for example a Diablo.

So, what do you think guys?

Well, by 1 race I meant like 5 each races and for all of them done - you get a car. And then, the final championship can be like 10 races, but with points (you know what is championship, don't you)

Yes, that's what I meant. The more races, the better 👍

But then we need faster A.I. because driving with same car and tires is a little bit boring in Gt5...

Sounds great mate. You described that very well. I could see the manufacturers cup in the game. But I think that gt6 may have the manufacturers races in a separate menu, as opposed to a race menu designed to be in a dealership

That would be great in my eyes, but then again, I would happy with GT5P had. That was the one thing I wanted in GT5 that never arrived.

GT5p had manufacture events in the dealership, normally was 1 or 2 races specific to that manufacture.

I was surprised this was removed as it gave you a reason to drive that car, there are plenty of cars from the NCD that I've not driven. :/

It will be very disappointing if there aren't single make/model races. Disappointing but not surprising. I used to really like GT4's races like that.

I too miss those races, some of them quite challenging and always fun.
The manufacturers had a decent layout too if I recall, aside from easy access to the relevant "manufacturer races", you also had a "tuning" shop right at your fingertips. Too easy. I miss that too.

Yes, thoose "manufacturer races" need to be in GT6, they make GT series different from the others car games

Agree. Maybe not for all cars, but at least one per make.
For rewards, why not a racing suit and helmet in the colours of the brand?

The entire a -spec, championships need to to totally redone, Gt6 had one of the worst SP career modes I've seen. Real races with good AI, multiple laps not just 5 laps every time, some mid -level races. Gt5 was either 5 laps or 100 lol. What about a bunch of 20 or 30 lap races as well?

Gt6 needs a lot of improvements to get back it's reputation for quality imo.

There was nor acing in GT5 really, it was 1 big time trial. GT lost something along the way, the excitement of racing. There is no tension, no atmosphere in Gt everything felt sterile and boring. This is what Gt6 needs to fix.

One race comes to mind. GT2 and the Viper Festival of Speed. Would be nice to see that and more races like that in GT6.

Lamborghini Speciali: Countach 25th, Murcielago SV, Diablo SE30, Diablo SV

I miss them from GT2, especially the ones requiring the racing modification. There were so many events. Unfortunately it was difficult tuning the car so that it was slow enough to make races against underpowered cars and awful AI interesting. Some things never change.

I don't see why not but first I'd like to know whether the AI has been improved considerably. If the AI behaves like it does in GT5 then it wouldn't really matter if there were no events at all.
