Karting is pretty much universally accepted as the best way (not the only way) to get started in 4 wheeled motorsports. The ultimate beginner class is the 4 stroke kart, a relatively bullet proof, easy to maintain formula, that promotes very close and exciting racing. GT7 absolutely should have this and a few kart tracks to go along with it and the other karts. Why not start with a combination of the Margay Ignite K3 chassis and the Briggs and Stratton LO206 4 cycle engine?

Well...
Holy cow, the new thread title's a monster, isn't it.
This - are you nominating a specific kart that has been raced? Only it looks like you've built one from a chassis you've found and an engine you've found (and it seems that the chassis is for 100cc engines and the engine is a 200cc unit), rather than a kart from somewhere.

And it's accompanied by a video not of that kart but of a game?
(Still needs a year at the end, though....)
And that.

How about this for a title?

I switched to the more current RY30 S6 model. The 100cc/Tag/Rotax/4cycle subtitle actually means it can be configured for 100cc clutch or direct drive 2 stroke, 125cc shifter, 125cc Rotax and 200cc 4 cycle engines. Karts and engines are almost always bought separately. Birel is the most popular and successful chassis manufacturer in the world and would be a perfect fit for GT IMO, and the Briggs motor and it's associated racing classes are quickly becoming the American standard for four stroke racing. I deleted the game video and any reference to it.

I can find lots of Birel + Briggs photos, but none that detail the specific chassis model and I didn't want to post a generic Birel + Briggs photo.

Well, the barest minimum information is [Make] [Model] [Year] where the square brackets indicating discrete entities. I'm pretty sure the kart isn't made by Birel/Briggs. And the year should be four digits. And the kart was made in 2009 (they're onto the RY30S7 now). So that would be Birel RY30S1 2009 - but then that doesn't have an engine because it's just a chassis, just like a McLaren MP4-30 is without the Honda bit.

That aside, it still doesn't seem to be a specific actual kart. Take Michael Schumacher's son, Mick, who at aged 15 has just finished runner up in the CIK FIA World Karting Championships KF-Junior class. He was driving a Tony Kart chassis with a Vortex engine and carrying number 212. His kart would be nominated as:

Tony Kart Vortex KF Junior Mick Schumacher #212 2014

You need to pick a specific kart, rather than constructing your own from parts - something you can provide a picture or video of in action.

While car building may be possible in a future iteration of Gran Turismo with engine swaps (and that's one for the Features suggestions), as yet it's not.

Nice Johnny!!! I race quarter midgets, basically 1/4 the size of a midget racecar. I do race a Briggs and Stratton World Formula class, so it would be awesome to see that in-game! You have my vote!

And now the year's at the start!
I know, but the engine is a Briggs and Stratton, hence the hybrid title.
Which doesn't index correctly. All the terms need to be discrete entities - so Birel RY30S1 Briggs & Stratton 200cc 2009 would suit, if only it was an actual specific kart for which images could be provided.

OK, so what about just Birel RY30S6 200cc '09?

Think I put it all together with the Margay Ignite K3 and the Briggs LO206.

Needs the EVK bit if you are going to be that specific about it, given that there were 5/6 different Tony kart chassis manufactured in 2014.
If you wish - though the broadcast of the CIK FIA World Championship wasn't so specific.

That said, they did include the tyres - though since everyone was using Vega, somewhat superfluously.

Will you be nominating it?

They do leave out bits like that from the broadcasts annoyingly and it's the kind of information that is pretty important, and I've never understood the reasoning for stating the tyre manufacturer, I'm pretty sure most kart races are run using one tyre brand and you have to use that brands wet and dry tyre. At events commentators will unnecessarily talk about it, without going into the info that you mentioned about engine manufactures.

I'm sorry I don't quite understand what you mean by nominating?

Making a thread for it here in the Suggestions/Cars forum - nominating it as a car you'd like to see in Gran Turismo in the future.

I might do, the EVK was the last evolution of a hugely successful Tonykart model. I think the first version of it was introduced in 2009 and since then there were very small changes every other year up until 2014. The kart won hundreds of races across Europe and was widely regarded in the UK as the best chassis (it did have other forms, the Kosmic Mercury, FA victory and Exprit Noesis). If there was any model to be put in the game that shows karting in it's finest form then the model you stated should be the one to do it, in the race that Mick finished second in, the EVK occupied the 5 top spots in the junior category, and took all of the podium spots in the KF (senior) class as well.
