Here are some pics of the new Maserati MC12 that will make it´s debut at Imola this weekend. It will be driven by Mika Salo and Johnny Herbert and their respective teammates. Also this weekend the Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT will make it´s second appearence in the series.

But the car looks quick with that little tiny wing on such a wide car...
 
From what I read, all road models have been made, and the production line has stopped for them. Only the race models may continue to be made. WOW. It also says almost every road edition, if not all by now has been ordered and awaiting shipment.

awesome car!! wish they put this car in GT4...anywho, hey is there a way to actually watch the F.I.A GT Races here in the U.S???? I would really want to see these cars race. And do they go to Spa and Monza????
 
Beautiful car, same with that Lamborghini Murcielago RGT. The maserati's greenhouse reminds me of an Enzo.

It will be interesting to see how much the FIA forces Masarati to change the design to retain parity in the championship. It’s a pity Ferrari felt the need to disguise the Enzo…
