Massive off, but still penalty for "passing under yellow"

Unfortunately, my replay does not show me receiving the penalty, but I have shown the full incident. I receive the 5.000 second penalty for passing under yellow during the second caution of this race after a massive off by several cars. I'm not sure who I passed to receive this penalty or how I could have ever resolved it. Anyone have an idea which car I "passed" to receive this penalty? Tired of taking Sr hits for things like this.



This is an Dr B Sr S race, and it is one of the most pathetic Sr S races I have ever seen....

That's unfortunate haha, seems like he is lagging, you can barely see him at the bottom right corner around 0:45 seconds. He is ghosted and in 12th place at that time, in a red Gtr it appears.

lol, i got a 5 sec penalty too, on that exact track.

His (her) car was off the track but way off.

The yellow warning came up, just a bit after he went off.

Even if i wanted to stop the car, that wouldn't work. Physics wouldn't allow me to brake from 150 km/h to 0 instantly.

So, that's nonsense and totally unreal.

And even if i could stop the car somehow, i would lose at least 10sec.

Telemetry is way off, as it seems...

You gained two places as you passed the incident, from Alexjenkins901 - whose car appears ghosted next to you as it is reset to the track - and rogervolks.

The second of those cars is... not really visible, but you can see it on the circuit map:

Also note that at this point in time you are 11th, having just gained the second of the two places you gained, but the car behind you is 13th. Rogervolks is in 12th, which suggests that he's that arrow all the way off to the left of the track, not ghosted and you just passed him.

I think it might be the car I passed at the 55 second penalty actually. I got the penalty immediately after that.

Still rubbish though.
