Master Account/Sub Account Users?

Do you use your Master Account or Sub-Account for your GTP ID??

G'day all,

How many of you use your master account or sub-account for your GTP_(insert name) PSN ID? I mean, we do not get access to Playstation Home under a sub-account and I can imagine in the future there will be some sort of organized events that will go in PS Home for GT5. As it stands, those of us with our GTP name under a sub-account do not get to go into PSHome.

So I'm curious. Which one of you use your Master Account and how many of you use your Sub-Account for your GTP ID? Feel free to vote on top.

I didn't know about the sub account thing. Wish I could change my master account name, but alas I wasn't smart enough while signing up to remember the GTP_ stuff.:(
 
Zathra5_ how did that happen? My GTP tag is a sub-account, and it says I'm not old enough to go into PS Home whereas I have no problem doing so in my Master Account. I wonder if regions have something to do with that.

Does anyone else that use a sub-account, have access into PS Home?
 
Just checked and my sub account works fine in home.

You may want to check using the main account the settings for the sub user. I think if you go into account management from the main account then try manage sub accounts you can set the sub user to allow chat and spending. Mine are on allow for chat and limitless spending. Think these might be needed for Home. Also home does not let anyone under 16, so check the age but I don't know where you do this.

You can create more than one Master Account. I have six.

One for US
One for GTP
One for Europe
One for Australia
One for Hong Kong
One for Japan

Wotzit is close. You can set permissions for sub accounts from your master account. However, by some crazy oddity you have to turn off the permissions. It seems backward, but it works.

They may have fixed it to make sense now, but either way if your sub-account cannot access Home go into your master account and switch the permissions to the opposite of whatever they are now.
 
I just use 2 master accounts. The only problem is you have to tell your friends your other id or as I do and just add my GT5 friends only from my 1st master account to my GTP_ account id.

I can confirm this. All you need to do actually is make sure that Content Restriction is ON for the sub-account, and it will let you into Home. Hope they change that in the future, for those of us over 18 hahah
 
Well, I have 5 accounts on my PS3, which are all master accounts.

I have:
My origional, before the GT5p registry - I only use this on accasion
GTP_GBWH1991 - the account I use the most (all the time)
One for my good friend - For some games, his taste in modifying the cars are terrible, so I gave him an accout of his own to create his monstrosities...
A guest account (no PSN) for my cousin to use when he visits from Holland
And a spare account which I use for other online games which are not related to cars and such...
