It's one of the default options for the TE37s. Otherwise, I usually use BMW's 'Sepang Bronze'.

I think you sort-of answered your own question. The LF-A 's chip is called "Matt", and the game-gifted chip is called "Matte". You can duplicate the LF-A chip by giving the car to a friend, and back to you again.

I'm curious to know if they look any different on the car, since the LF-A's black looks a little to light and shiny to me, more like satin charcoal than matte black.

The Maserati Gran Turismo S has been my favourite "cruiser" since one of the first days after buying the game - elegant, very nice to drive and definitely one of the better engine sounds in the game in my opinion.
Tonight I finally decided it was time to turn it into a full blooded racing machine - or as close as I could get at least. Fully upgraded (to around 640 bhp if I recall correctly), including aero upgrades and medium racing tires. And matte silver paint.

This car is now very fast (though obviously not a match for the 800+ bhp monsters), sounds like a savage beast and handles like a dream.

This second photo looked fine on my TV, but a bit too dark on my monitor. Hopefully you can still see the car .

Anyways back on topic.. why is my chrome orange categorized as mettalic and anyone else have a "midchrome" paint chip? I have a Midchrome Yellow.

chrome orange is actually metallic if you look at it in real life. Nothing chrome about it bar the name.

Camaro Racecar if you can find one. And I don't mean a race-modded new Camaro. I mean the one from GT4.

It comes diagonally half-blue and half-white. I was curious if it would paint only the half like the RM'd Corvettes or not, but it painted the whole thing head-to-toe and kept the decals. Did mine in a glossy black. Will try it out in matte black whenever I have the time to get a chip off an LFA (currently grinding toward a FGT and had been "misbehaving" in the Used lot ).

Anyway, it's a fantastic car as well, unless you're a premium-only person. (And if you can find one). I have a feeling it would look incredibly sharp in matte white. The only matte chips I have are green (3 of them, none dark or light) and light blue.

Here is the first of my re-created special editions of various cars. To kick things off, may I introduce my '722 McLaren SLR'. I tuned the horsepower and weights to reflect as close as possible the real 722 SLR as it is not in the game. I'm already doing my own performance comparisons between the 'standard' SLR and the 722 SLR! Lots of fun for a car fanatic like me.
