I darn near forgot to post this! Anyway, May is almost here. Which means for those of us north of the equator plants will bloom, days will continue to get longer, the BBQ grill will get dusted off, and, oh it's time for another difficult car! Same story, just vote for the next car you would like to see tuners take a stab at!

Tough choice between the Cizeta and the Diablo '00...I did just make an F40 tune :)

Jerome

I saw that, and there are some other good F40 tunes in my opinion. I hope the Cizeta wins honestly. The Diablos are fast but you just have to drive very carefully. The Cizeta on the other hand is slow for it's PP range and is difficult to tune to be competitive.

There was a nomination thread that chose the cars in this poll. I'll try to remember to add it next time.

I thought the GT3 Skyline was really good? Or is that just the GT Academy one that's good?
There's plenty of good tunes out there for it but it does love a new set of front tyres to destroy :mischievous:

The GT3 GT-R is tragically slow compared to every other 600pp GT-R race car. There are good tunes for it, however. Mainly, like many GT6 GT3 cars, it suffers from relentless understeer and isn't very fast for it's pp range.

Ahh right, so not difficult to drive, just slow. I kind of hope it doesn't win to be honest, most of the GT3s just need a bit of a tickle (remove stock camber + decent transmission) and they're fixed.

In that case, I nominate either the F40, Diablo GT '00 or the Pagani.
Take your pick :D

I chose the F40 in the poll but they all look like fun. I don't mind if the Skyline wins, I just don't think it fits with the general idea of the thread.
That's what I thought after looking at what the thread is for.
Generally speaking, the Skyline isn't anywhere near as difficult as the fast MR road cars.
Some of them can't decide which end of the car should lead into the next corner! :scared: :irked: 🤬 :banghead:

No Ruf BTR? That car was basically built to slide.

At 500pp the BTR is awesome on sports softs on a dry track. Wet track its a bit slidey.

Voted for GTR GT3 cos ive heard bad things. I didnt like the SLS GT3 so ive left them alone since.

The GT3 cars are a lot better with a decent tune applied. Rubbish without it. Still got my reservations about the Audi though :irked:

@Ridox2JZGTE has spent a fair bit of time trying to iron out the bugs on the Audi & is making solid progress. Give it a run and see what you think. He's always looking for feedback.

GT3 class are good earners too!
I like taking them to the Nurburgring for the 24. Easy winners :D

The Audi R8 LMS Ultra Phoenix should be in the poll , I'll vote for the Gathers Drider Civic' 98, nobody seems to like this car, I will adapt some nice real world tuning on it :D Maybe it can be as good as my J's Racing Hondas.

3 votes :(

What is that civic anyway? I've seen it in the dealership but assumed it was just a touring car

Cheers, We`ll see what the poll throws up. I think i`ve got that Audi covered in dust in my garage somewhere! I dont like the N24 mins to be easy! I`m trying to win it with the MG TF160 on sports softs at 497PP (maxed with oil change) currently. Its got the worst headlights in the world!(can`t see left and right curbs at same time!). Cant get better than 3rd.

It's the 1998 Champion in Super Taikyu ST4 Class driven by 'Drider' Satoshi Tsujimoto ( motorcycle rider ) and Yasukichi Yamamoto ( President of Opera Performance / RAZO test driver ) - based on information I got from the web.

The Drider Civic is a cool car, IMO, but unlike GT5 where it was awesome, it suffers from understeer and low mid-corner and exit speeds. I've tried every tune, including my own, and it just doesn't seem..... right. That's why I included it.

Fair play, never really been drawn to the civics, I know they're pretty good and I have used them but I always head straight for an Integra instead lol

I tried driving my F40 at Motegi and it didn't go so well. It seemed okay for Willow, but :scared: I'm going to tweak it some more 👍

So, it will be Huayra ... I have Cizeta V16T tuned at 550PP and 600PP since 1.04, both runs like a king on SS and RH tires, no ride height exploit and stock weight distribution, just some fine suspension and LSD tuning. The 600PP is a real blast at Green Hell on SS tire, a speed demon

Wait, I may have tuned the Huayra long ago back in 1.00 :D

May I suggest one candidate for next month?

Audi R8 LMS Ultra '12 - 600 PP, but it's worth 550 - very nervous to drive and a rear tyres eater in long races.

It's actually been a candidate every month, but I forgot to put it in the poll because nobody mentioned it in the nomination thread. Sorry guys!

I have tuned the Audi R8 LMS Ultra, but I did not feel the power nor the torque declared on the specs.
Despite I tuned the gearbox properly, the engine seemed not to 'push' as I expected.
