I did not create this thread.
Yes, by virtue of being the site administrator, a member for 12 years and in fact possessing both the power of sight and the ability to read, I'm very much aware of this piece of information.

I am, however, at a loss to determine why you chose to share it or what I'm supposed to do with it.

Lock it if something is wrong.

Lock it if something is wrong.
Though your thoughts on proper moderation of the site are valuable, I am again at a loss regarding why you are choosing to share them.

I'm also a little vague on why I should lock @BJahalt88's thread following an extremely confusing pair of posts from you.

Well you said, "The same thing applies here as it does here." So I thought something was wrong with the thread, and I also thought you did not know what to do with it.

There was. It was corrected by the person who actually started the thread, in the same manner they corrected the thread to which my post linked.

Which doesn't explain why you had to post to say you didn't start the thread...
and I also thought you did not know what to do with it.
Yet my post covered exactly what needed doing - something readily apparent should one read the post.

Let me further assure you that if I am ever lost as to what moderation action to take, I will discuss it with the moderation team in private and you will never become aware of it, much less approached to give your thoughts about the appropriate course of action.
