For biggest surprise of them all, how about a fully modded Mazda 323/Protege Sedan '89? 370hp max, nice looking race mod and 825 kg. It can whip asses in the Super Touring races and the 80's car cup with the right gear ratios:) have any of you tried this little gem?

Yes, and I've even won the GT All-Stars Super Speedway 5-lap race with that car. That's one of the last "Project Cars" I played with until I received GT3.

You could probably win an enduro against the best cars in the game with that car, it's that amazing for a platry 2500-3500 credits.

are you sure you can win the all-stars with it? it's not powerful compared 2 the cars that normally are in there, and what are the best tweaks 4 it's gears? ( only my 702hp unisia jecs GTR can beat the cars there)

The GT All-Stars Skylines don't drive half as well as a six-year-old would; power becomes a rather iniscule issue. The 323 (Lantis) is an astounding machine - I too used it as a project car for a week, the record of which is in some three-month-old thread around here. If my memory servers correctly, I got between 300 and 400hpout of it.

are you all talking about the Lantis (323 Coupe) or the 'interplay 4 door sedan' cos i was talking about the sedan (white race mod with blue and crimson decoration and mazda logos)

1500cc, 370hp, 825kg:eek:

Mind you, I only won the SuperSpeedway race with the '89 Protege (323). I could only manage a 3rd at Laguna Seca with it.

Not too shabby.

yea, it is a really underrated machine. It is a bit plain looking tho, and im not sure if that particular race kit qualifies as "good looking" :ill: ;)

it's not dull but it isnt tasteless and ugly like the Dodge Intrepid or the R32 GTR VSpecII;) if you want dull try the VW lupo or Vauxhall Tigra:rolleyes:

i was only saying their race mods were dull!! 9the lupo is plain white with a castrol logo, and the Tigra is just plain white with a couple of decals on the bonnet/hood)
