Mazda 6 Concept 2001 - no drive train indication?

Hi everyone!

First of all - great, great forum!

Sorry for the newb question, I tried the search function without success.

Here is the thing - I just finished the FF challenge in the Beginners hall and got the Mazda 6 Concept. But I cannot race with it, because there is no indication what type of drive train it has. Looking around in the forum I found that it is supposed to be FWD (and I know it's a concept and you cannot sell it) but in my game there is no indication, just "--". I tried to enter every challenge in the beginners hall (FF, FR, FWD est.) but it would not let me participate.

The only thing I suspect is that FWD cars can be used only after you have obtained a certain license. I only have B domestic (all silver) so far.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Evtim

No bug or licence requirements - the Mazda 6 Concept just simply doesn't have a drive type stated in GT Mode (there's another couple of cars like that - one of the Nissan CUBEs springs to mind).

You can determine what it is by using it in Arcade Mode, where it is stated for you, but there's just no using it in drive-type-restricted events in GT Mode.

I've noticed this too. It's not a CVT transmission, is it? I'll have to remember not to sell my Mazda next time if I win another one, and take a spin with a manual transmission to see if I can go this route.

mine handles like a 4wd and when i put the full custom lsd on it both front AND rear could be adjusted.... strange

You can determine what it is basically from the start, since it's identical to the road car apart from the fact that it has different colour options and it says ''concept'' instead of ''5-Door''. Therefore, it's FF.
