Mazda Az-1

Hello I have 91.22% of the game completed and have just 19 races yet to complete however I can not find the Mazda AZ-1, I have waited for the used car lot to refresh itself about 4 times and it has not shown up.

What I want to know is there a certain day that it only shows up or will it eventually show up in the used car lot as it keeps refreshing?

I'm 455 days into the game

Thank you in advance for you help

Has anyone posted a calender listing which cars turn up on which days? On the GTF I saw a complete list, if anyone has anything similar then that would help you. Personally the times I've needed any car it's been pure luck but eventually you get the various colours of '71 Skylines and '67 Toyota 2000 GT's, AZ-1's etc. you want. :)

there is one at the GTF, but that site is down ATM. As others have said, the lots rotate on every 'zeroth' day, that isn every day that ends in a 0. I'll see if I can dig up that list, its kind of cryptic but complete.

Just keep checking. Some cars you just have to be lucky to buy at the moment. Another example would be the Suzuki Capuccino: it took me about 30 days until the darn thing was in the used lot!

The lesson here is to pick up the AZ-1, Cappuccino, and Beat (any other Manufacturer's Events that require only used cars?) when you find them. Check the used lots every 10 days.

Just in case you didn't know. You can increase your # of days without actually racing. Go to any race, and exit without actually racing. This will increase your # of days by one. Do this 10 times and check the used lots again until it shows up. I think I have heard that the cars show up at random intervals. So a list of days wouldn't be helpful. I could be wrong though...

The only problem with this scheme is that it also increases the number of races that you've been in, and as a consequence murders your win percentage and average race placing stats.

A better way to increase your days is to enter a licence test and then exit it. I don't think this runs up the # of races you've been in

the aspec is almost the same exact thing as the normal one, the only difference is that it has a tailwing and the normal one doesn't

Actually, it's the other way around: Entering a race but immediately exiting will add one day to your day total. But whether you enter 1 or 60 license tests doesn't add days at all in GT2.

In GT1, you could change the day counter by doing license tests. Each trial was one day, an interesting way to get different first-day-cars for under 10,000 credits. That method doesn't work in GT2.

I saw the cappucino every time I entered the suzuki used car lot (which wasn't much;) ). I also got the mazdaspeed AZ-1 A-spec and all the other "rare" cars EXCEPT THE 22B!!!!!! :banghead: What exactly does it look like??

My 240ZG in GT 2 is maroon. I haven't found any other color. Although once, I saw 2 Subaru 360's, one lemon yellow, another white, in the used car lot on the same day.

240Zs come in red, too, although i have yet to see any of them in the used car lot. never seen a red one at all.

I hated this damn car, because I got it, didnt think and sold it. Got it out of my garage and that was that.

Now about 80 percent later, I found out that I needed the thing to complete a specific race.

I had to do what everyone has mentioned... go back and check all the time.

Just do it everyday, that way your safe.

Hope you have some luck...
