Mazda Familia S-Wagon Sport 20 2002

This interesting machine appeared in GT2. Unlike the Sedan Sport 20 (available from GT4 onwards, also known as the Protege), the S-Wagon Sport 20 has a four-wheel drive system (allegedly full-time 50-50), more appealing body of a hatchback, and better colour palette (red, yellow, white, etc.). They share the same engine.

I suggested the 2002 model because of the face-lifted front and rear masks. The model in GT2 was 1998 - 2000.

I think it is very appealing because we rarely get to drive mildly-powered AWD hatchbacks, especially from Mazda (!). Though it will likely never appear in any video game ever again, I just wanted to remind people of this really obscure car.

Technically it is, they must have played with the name just for the sake of using something different.

* Though from some angles it really does remind of a wagon.
