It doesn't take much.

  • Increase the down-force to the max
  • bump up the gearing to about 235 MPH.
  • 3/1.5 degrees camber, with a bit more stabilizer.

Also make sure you turn ABS, Traction control and Stability Controll off. If you don't it will slow you down a lot.👎

Most important part is throttle/steering control. If you can balance them youll rail those corners.

Has anyone tried using this car for all stars series. I reckon it could be done with a good tune to eliminate the oversteer.

just keep the throttle down and hold on. you make up all the time in the corners and the car will take them at full speed with the right line. All i had to do was bump up the downforce a bit

Make sure you purchase the Chasis Reinforcement upgrade. This upgrade helps a ton with keeping the car more stable through turns.

the Furai Concept '08 with 560hp and 600-ish kg will NOT win this race. I'd like video proof. I just tried Indy B-spec and after 3 laps was in 10th place and gave up. You won't win with this car.

I don't have video proof but have the Minolta in my garage to show I won it, completed in A-spec. Not sure if the Furai could win B spec.
Daytona was won easier then Indy, where I got a bump down the final straight to win.

I just won both events in "Like the wind" using the Furai. Thanks for all of your suggestions, they were helpfull. I had to run through quite a few times because everytime I got to 1st place, I would get knocked out. I found that throtling down just a bit before the corners, got me to first place a lot faster.

It was not easy. I just had to learn to drive better.

Ditto, I even got bumped crossing the line at Indy like one of the previous posters said! That race was intense...:dopey: God bless the Furai!

Won both races with this setup. Had to block a little at the start/finish line @ Indy, but got it done. Thanks for the tips.

I think i read somewhere in this thread that somebody is asking for a proof that the furai can win it...no need to post the video the result says it all

Im sure somebody will tell me i have a time like their grandmas laptime...bottom line is, 1st place is 1st place hehehehehh cheers...it doesnt matter if you win by an inch or by a mile...winings winning - Vin Diesel

Took 1st on the 2nd lap thanks to the settings somebody posted here although i bumped my gearing to 370

Still did not make this event on Aspec, my bob did it with a Minolta.

But now after seeing your screenshot i wanna do it with the furai as well :dopey: seems like it was a stressful race for you judging the times! I like that :sly:

Slipstream early to take the lead in turn 3 or 4 on lap 1. Then hug the bottom so that the AI cannot slipstream back on you. Only come off of the bottom if they manage to get back in front of you. By lap 4 or so you should have a comfortable lead. I had my downforce at 50 and 25 I think. You may have to side bump and trail brake a little in turn 3 to get by but the Furai when fully tuned will run that track flat out without even setting up for turns 1 and 3. Again, HUG THE BOTTOM on the straights. Otherwise they will slipstream and pass you. I lost this race like 13 times in a row until I figured this out then I won about 6 in a row or so before I quit.

I just beat "like the Wind" Daytona Roadcourse and Indy Superspeedway in the Mazda Furai. The biggest a help for me was turning on "Skid Recovery Force". Without that assist turned on I couldn't keep the Furai pointed straight. With SRF on the Furai was a dream to drive.

I've just beat Indy with the Furai using these settings on my second attampt. It works dude!!!

I'd been trying for the last 2 hours before finding this. Thanks man, you're a genius!!

+1 to this. Won both events in Like the Wind pretty easily

One thing I noticed is that the Furai spins out super easily with heavy braking. I bumped the brake balance to 9F/5R for Daytona and the car was absolutely stable and unbeatable.

For Indy... just keep the pedal to the medal and extend your lead with each turn

Thanks for this thread. I am winning Dream Car with this setup easily, as expected. Surprising thing was in the middle of the 4th race I realized I had Sports Soft so I was far enough ahead I pitted and had my B spec put on the Racing Hard. Lots of problems staying on the road followed. Very surprised. I am doing the 9/5 brake adjustment for the last race to see if that helps with it any, but I think a torque adjustment is what it really needs to control the spinning out. Funny how well the car handled better with the Sport Soft then Racing Hard slicks.

Thanks worked for me also
