That's as it may be, but is that actually what it's called?

Flyin' Miata is, as far as I'm aware, a very successful modifier of MX-5s and not a vehicle manufacturer. The second line of the first paragraph of that article also calls them a "tuner". That alone would hint that this is a tuner car - and the last line tells you what they call it.


Following the "tuner" guidelines, that would lead the thread title to be "Mazda Miata (NB) Habu V8 by Flyin Miata" - and since it's an NB MX-5 and a modified to order kit, you're looking at a year of either 1998 (NB) or 2003 (NB.5) as the first year of production. The car in your images is an NB.5, for reference.
