On May 19, 2014, Mazda announced they would enter in 24 Hours of Nürburgring with a support of JOTA Sport, as they wanted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Roadster. They took 4th in class at the qualify, but in the race, other cars collided with this car many times and spent much time in the pit. At last, it crashed at Adenau corner and retired.
