Mazda RX-7 Handling

I just bought a used Mazda RX-7 Type RS and I maxed out its horsepower, gave it an oil change, bought racing tires, racing transmission, racing flywheel and one the other thing before flywheels and after transmission in that section(oh my memory is crap) as well as weight reduction 3 to use in Like the Wind but when I go around the turns in Test Track the handling is pure garbage, one slight turn to the left as I enter the turn and it drives the car right into the wall and I'm wondering if there's a way to make this car handle better since I came 5th due to the car spinning out as that happened through the turns.
Does Limited Slip help out in turns?
Any help would be appreciated.

Unrelated question: I re-raced in Like the Wind with another car to get 200 A-spec points and I finished first but I never received 200 A-spec points when I checked my status in Home, am I suppose to clear the records or does that matter?

Thanks

You need to put on a wing to create some downforce. It will push you onto the road at high speeds and "stablilize" the car, if you will.

And you can get the maximum of 200 A-Spec points only once per race. If you mastered 200 points at "like the wind" before, you won't get any more there.

How do I put a wing on there?
No I have yet to accomplish 200 A-Spec points(well excluding my win this morning that never counted) since my records indicated the most I had was 176 A-Spec points for that race.

What does limited slip do?
Also I keep reading users doing a chassis refresh after every endurance race or X number of miles. I can't seem to find chassis refresh in tuning, is it called something else and people just refer to it as chassis refresh?

You can buy wings at the GT auto shop. All wings can produce the same downforce, despite their different sizes. Then, just before you enter the race, go to the car settings and turn up the downforce for the rear of the car. This avoids spinning away in highspeed turns. But be careful, as it also slows you down a bit. Play around with it to find the optimal setting.

The chassis refresh can also help, although I don't think that this is your problem. You can buy it at the last group of items in the tuning shop.

Thanks
I always thought the wings in GT Auto were for cars already with wings and therefore useless to purchase unless you were interested in the aesthetics, I had no idea you can add them to any car without wings currently attached so I thank you for that piece of knowledge.
The chassis refresh you mentioned is in the last group of items in the tuning shop? Do you mean the last option where you would do weight reduction? If so I believe it's Rigidity Refresh or something of that nature.
I didn't believe the chassis refresh was my problem but I was curious after reading users using it fairly often but I was unable to see Chassis Refresh in the Tuning Options.

If/when you buy the Chassis Refreshening, be sure to do it before the Increase Rigidity (if you do that too) option. If you do it the other way round, your car will be locked to the worn state. Not good.

I'd advice everyone to buy the refreshening whenever the car is worn, it definitely improves handling. :)

The rigidity increase really isn't my thing, I think I only have it on two cars.

Thanks, I had read that too. Can the Chassis Refresh be applied several times to the same vehicle?
I wish I was home right now to see the options in front of me because I'm still confused, is the Chassis Refresh located in Tuning for the car (say Japan->Mazda->Tune->somewhere) or is it in GT Auto?

It can be applied as many times as you wish, my ABT Audi TT has had it at least eight times now. :dopey:

It's in the manufacturer's tuning section, in the same area as the lightening options. If you go there with a new car, you'll see it as ticked because the car is in top shape, but when going there with a used car, it'll be unticked meaning that you can perform the refreshening.

The car will stay in good condition for 400-800 kilometers after buying/refreshening, depending on the car. After that the handling begins getting worse until it's hard to keep it in a straight line. I witnessed this with my Pescarolo, it just went from wall to wall on the Hunaudieres straight on Le Sarthe.

I'm glad I was able to help. :)

Yeah you both have been a great help, I finished Like the Wind with the RX-7 Type RS and I won, you need to use the Nitrous in the beginning to catch up otherwise you'll be too far to catch up since top speed on long straight without Nitrous is only about 223MPH. I also figured out what the chassis refresh was called: Rigidity Refresher Plan.

My lil bro purchased an older model ('93?)FD and it feels different from the old used model ('95?)I purchased. The stability feels totally different from each other. I notice that mine turns better on the corners. We both have the same set up but just little difference.
