Mazda RX-792P IMSA GT #77 1992

Just look at this beauty! The RX-792P (RX-7 - 1992 - Prototype) was built for the 1992 IMSA GTP series. Although only two cars ran and the project was quickly abandoned, the fact remains that the 792P is powered by a hugely powerful quad rotor race engine, like the legendary 787B itself.

Anyone else think the 787 needs some interbrand rivalry?

Lesser known Mazda racer with 4 rotor? So much yes. Too bad it was quickly scrapped.
