Mazda RX-8 Concept Type II... has anyone ever got one besides YELLOW???

I know where you win it. The real question is, has anyone ever won it in any color but YELLOW?

The same question applies to any race where the prize is a special color car. Has anyone ever won it in any color BUT the special color?

It seems ridiculous that GT4 offers cars like the RX-8 II in several colors, but restricts you to only ever getting one.

But then again, that's the reason for Easter eggs. It's the challenge of figuring out the secret. If indeed the RX-8 II is such a thing...

I've tried the license test over 20 different times, but always a yellow. Maybe with all the dedicated fans out there, SOMEONE has won something different... found something I missed.

After you win a vehicle, go into Arcade mode. When you win prize vehicles you have "unlocked" them in arcade mode. Then you can see all of the different colors that are available.

With most concept cars, since they were one-off, hand-built concepts for auto shows or marketing purposes they only exist in one color since there was only one ever built.

While true, the Type II RX-8 shows in 4 colors so theorectically you should be able to obtain any of the 4....

mine is Yellow also. My type I is red (the only color that one comes in)

I'm going to check on this. If there is colors in the "Arcade Mode" then there should be a way to get them in "Career Mode". I have yellow too, but has anyone dig for any other colors? If I get a different one tonight, I'll post it.

Whats the difference between Type I and Type II I've only gotten the red one but I've never seen the other one.

I'm beginning to wonder if that isn't the case.

Arcade mode shows 7 colors (i'm at 100%). But so far, I haven't found anyone on any BBS that's gotten anything but Yellow or CONFUSED about what I'm asking.

It really sucks though. I have every prize car in every color possible (including the all blacks with NO MILEAGE) except this one and an orange F1. And no it seems my collector hopes are crushed. 🤬

Well it's partly to do with the fact that all the colours are bright enough to burn your corneas out. Bright paint job = PD had taken the day off and didn’t apply any shading to the texture, oh well.

Oh and yea, I won a yellow one too.
