After only just having a sneak peak at an earlier reveal of the new McLaren 675LT track-focused supercar, we now have official images from MTC.

The new car boasts a power increase to 666BHP, or 675PS as the name suggests, coupled with 700Nm of torque. It will be produced in coupe form alone and strictly limited to 500 units, of which many are already spoken for.

For now, scroll down to feast your eyes over pictures of McLaren’s new weapon:

The only problem i see with that is copyright.

And that it would be completely moronic. Saying that a cars name is not important is like saying that swapping random words is not an issue. Sure, you have the right to say "could you pass the dog?", but don't expect anyone to pass the salt as a response. Names, like words, have memory association, and if you swap out a name that clearly meant one thing to not mean that at all (Like Long Tail for example) then you are completely misleading people.

And that is dumb.

Fair enough i suppose. Either way, its a stupid name, but i honestly don't mind much. :)

.......Dunno why but I prefer this back-end compared to that unfinished look of 12C/650S. Yeah, so it's a little placticky but I can live with that.

Eventhough I agree that it's not much of a long tail McLaren but I prefer this to the 650S.

Looks better proportioned from the side profile and the wheels are nicer.
