Mclaren MP4 12C mild tune

Someone asked for a Mclaren MP4 tune before. After hearing so many people having troubles finding a good tune, I'd thought I'd share mine.

My tune does not include any power increases or weight reductions. This tune is meant to make this car more drivable while keeping it as "stock" as possible.

What to buy:

- Sports soft tires
- Adjustable LSD
- Fully adjustable suspension
- oil change


LSD settings:

Initial Torque: 10
Acceleration: 31
Braking: 15


Suspension settings:

Ride Height: 0/2
Spring Rate: 12.5/13.8
Damper (Ext.): 5/5
Damper (Compr.): 4/4
Anti Roll Bar: 3/3
Camber: 1.2/1.8
Toe: -.05/.00


Brake Bias: 3/3


That's it. I used this set up with all aids off except ABS @ 1 and it ran a 7:12.848 on the nordschleife. It is probably capable of running a sub 7:05 since I almost spun out at least 3 times and forgot to do an oil change (607 hp vs. 623 hp).

This car can be still be quite twitchy and easy to lose control of in rare cases, but should be much easier to drive.

EDIT: This tune was not tested online.

hmm, someone on these forums asked me for a tune for this car because the other ones weren't working for him. Maybe it was just me, but it was pretty horrible to drive completely stock (or I was just inexperienced back then).

I like to drive most of my cars with minimal/no upgrades, but thanks for the link anyway.

I think the stock car isnt that great to drive. So a suspension and LSD tune could improve the car a lot.

So this tunes a good idea.
