I will be racing the Atlanta 400 April 6, 2002. It is at Lamar County Raceway in Barnsville, GA. Jim Downing and other great racers will be there! It is an 8 hour go-kart race. The karts are 275cc Honda engines. Anyone else racing here at GTP? See ya later. Heres the site for more info: www.endurancekarting.com :D

Wow, that's awesome! I'd love to get involved in karting, how did you get started?

275cc's  4 cyl I presume ;)

Anyways goodluck! And post some pics ;)

As soon as I get my scanner to work I'll post some pics of me in my kart.

This is an arrive and drive program, it cost about $325.00 for the race. I do race some other karting. I used to own a Trackmagic 125cc. I had to sell it though. It all started when I was 5 years old.

5 years old? Wow, I wish I had started at that age. :) Where where you able to find a kart (to buy it)?

My dad bought one for me. We started with a chassis and went with a Briggs and Stratton and stuff.

Yeah, it's a great series! Lot's of power but on the other hand the engine's are pretty reliable -in terms of kart engines- so you can get the most out of it almost every race. I did have some powervalve problems last sunday though  :P

Dang, i love kart racing, me and my buddy made one in detroit, well he did, i just watched and passed the tools, and we pulled off 67 mph, awsome feeling. Yet the sad thing is up here they dont have many REALL tracks and stuff :banghead:
Well anyways, have fun man, sure looks like u are.
