Not just in wrestling, Gene Okerlund is one of the best interviewers I have ever seen for any discipline, sport or genre.

He carried an air of unrivalled grace and substance.

Gene was a big part of my childhood in the 80s and 90s. To me he'll always be the voice of wrestling. Alongside JR, of course.
