Melling Hellcat Prototype 2007

The Hellcat was designed to be the fastest production car in the world. Its 6.0 litre quad turbo V10 engine produces 1,217 bhp and 880lb/ft of torque, which Melling claims can propel this monster from 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 275 mph (!). Granted, that top speed figure is probably a little overstated, but it would still be great to be able to see how the prototype version compares with the other big league supercars of GT...

It's like something out of Burnout, really. But with more horsepower than even the Bugatti Veyron, I'm surprised nobody tested it and really shattered the speed record at the time.

Not a big fan of that headlights but nice proposed specs. But with a name like Melling no wonder I've never even heard of these guys...and I heard a lot!!
