Memory Cards Died using GT2....

I have a strange problem. I built up loads of money and had 9 great cars using playstation and playing GT2. I then saved to two different memory cards respectively. However, my playstation can no longer read either card. They were both fine about an hour ago, until I saved the game!!! Now neither work!!! I have two playstations so tried to load in the other play station. The same thing occured in the second play station.... it won't read either memory card!

Surely two memory cards (that have always been fine) can't die on the same game-save? And clearly this isn't a problem with the play station consol as it is happening with both consols.

Help please... I had got very far on the game when this happened. Anyone have any suggestions? I lost other data on the memory cards too, not just GT2 data.

STRANGE. The same thing happened to me, but it was only 1 Memory Card and it happened on Teken 3

Try using them 1 at a time (if you havn't already done so)

Whoa..... Im still using my very first memory card and it works great. I don't understand. I think you did something, you just don't know it.

Darin, I saved the game as I always do...I cant see how I could have done anything wrong. Even with the lid open it says no memory card present. I cant even save to those 2 cards anymore, it says "no memory card". I still have a couple other cards and they can be read and saved on with no problem. BTW, I'm using my other PS console to do the saving now because I'm wondering if its the console I was using that trashed the cards. Any more thoughts?

buy new cards for 2 bucks at blockbuster thats what you should do but if you lost the save then that sux

Hey that used to happen to me all the time but i found a way to avoid that i bouhgt a new one at walmart and it works perfectly fine no more errors. I would suggest that if you really are mad about this happening.
