I picked this car as a level reward. What a fun car! Its not a car I would have bought on my own from the dealership. I was able to throw that car around the turns on Rally Di Positano and had a BLAST! I heard a lot of the perfect turn dings too!

Any cars really surprise you and make you smile after driving them for the first time?

I love that car as well. I used to own an '84 Euro Spec 190E in real life, so I've always been fond of the Evo II and it is my go to car for the C class.

Parker

I haven't gotten it yet in career mode but I was super stoked to see it was in the game!

The one I love right now is the Ford T-Bird, it just feels so awesome to drive, and I love the way it rolls around like you would expect it to.

Looks even better with the wing removed imo and if it sounds like it did in FM3, if not even better, then it'll be one of the very best sounding cars, not just amongst other 4-pots.

YES! I just rediscovered this car about 30 minutes ago and destroyed the competition on Hockenheim (and with 50 fewer PI). I think I have a new favorite for time trials.

VXR, the sound should bring a tear to your eye.

I just got it myself. It's such a nice ride, it's barely believable... And it always had a special place in my heart, that's for sure. It symnolizes the golden age of the DTM to me, just as much (or maybe even moreso) than the E30 M3. And I have to agree, the handling is spectacular. It's a bit loose, at times, but the response is so sharp... Glorious!

Plus, dat sound!

Also, if you like the 190E, I'd recommend getting the Lancia 037. Just as lovely, really. Well, almost :D

Dam I picked up the Cossie instead, works as my class A car, gives me a close race, its awesome. Another car I love driving is my AW11 MR2 handles wonderfully, and with the supercharger, brilliant soundtrack

I noticed the unbalanced 190E right away, that's why I have so much fun beating people using it with the '02 T/A. I have the 190E, but haven't been desperate enough to resort to it. T10 have never been able to balance a FM game yet, we'll see with FM4.

If you want something unbalanced, I suppose to take a look at something mid-engined. Not enough evidence to make the call yet, but from driving different cars, I feel like those will be the ones to watch out for...

Im going to have to pick that one up too. Thanks for the heads up
You're welcome :D I was a bit caught off guard by the 037... I initially piccked it just because it was the most expensive of the lvl 11 gift cars, but it's such a nice car...

I just set up one for B-class. What a dream to drive! Did some hotlapping online and was at the the top of the pack all the way through =)

All chassis upgrades with nothing more than -1,2 degrees camber front and back: works like a dream for me!

It took me a while to realize that the rear wing is completely functional and, more importantly, adjustable! So, I removed the upgrades the gift car came with and rebuild it a bit, including the Forza Aero front splitter.

My god, that thing tears through autocross tracks like nothing.

This car is very very good, I managed 18th on the Sunset Infield AutoCross leaderboards, this was in A class :embarrassed: without the front splitter and against 4wd track monsters, I was most impressed.

I cant wait to get home from work! I want to take it out for a spin now! I took an elise out on the autocross course before work...what a pile, I hit every freaking barrel haha. Looking forward to a pleasant drive.

It'll be the first car I buy once I get the game, love that damn car so much :D

if anyone has a great b class tune...im all ears...I took it out for a spin with my tuning for B class and it was great! I hope to hear from someone that actually knows how to tune!

Agh, I knew I should of gotten the Evo.II.

The car that surprised me the most was the '65 Mustang. I didn't think much when I got it, but oh my it is so fun to drive. Good all-around car for d-class.

Ill have to give that a go when I get some credits lol Stupid Ruf ate half my bank...I so suck at S class racing :)

The '65 Mustang is pretty good stock, as it has better handling then most of the other muscle cars due to the lower HP, but it is even better if you give it some handling upgrades & tune the suspension in D-Class. I don't know how well it could hold up in higher Classes, but in D-Class it kills everything, even with the hardest difficulty AI and no driving aids at all.

'65 Mustang is absolutely amazing in B class. Full handling upgrades, weight reduction, rollcage, brakes, etc. Stops from 60mph in under 100 feet, pulls over 1g in turns, and can still keep up with the best in its class in acceleration and speed. Even with the understeer tuned out it's still hard to break the rear loose. Amazing car. Keep the engine stock, with weight reduction it's 2000 lbs and 270 horsepower which is an excellent power-to-weight ratio.

I have history with the E30 M3, so I picked that instead. Haven't driven it yet though.

One car I was surprised with was the RUF RT-12. Screws up the competition easily, with less PI too!

Then there's the Subaru 22B. I got caught up in my R33, powersliding and all, but then I chose the 22B instead for the Motegi Autocross. My god it was amazing. You could throw that thing at any corner, and it will just take you through it. Not to mention that, as soon as you touch the steering, it will turn in that corner. I've never felt a car respond this good before, never! There's not even a hint of understeer, it's that incredible.

Oh yeah the 65' Mustang is so good I kept 3, 1 stock, 1 with weight stripped and basic race-prep of an authentic touring car recreation, and another B class one that wears fat slicks which I often pull out against JDMs, the thing is so loud it completely drowns out other 4 potters.

I agree the car is a beast !!, here's my livery for it :

The Cadillac CTS-V. Scary in the corners, a monster on the straights!👍

Well, I cant believe they offered me a 1965 shelby daytona coupe as a prize car!! This is one of my all time favorite cars. What a piece of automotive history! It made me go giggity giggity goo, aaaaalrrrrright when I got this vehicle. It made me setup my front speakers and surround speakers so i could bask in its audio glory while zipping in and out of traffic on the nurb m3 challenge (the one where you pass slow traffic racing the m3 to the finish line). I didnt care if I lost or won. It almost made me change my shorts.
