At 740 bhp, the SLS Electric Drive is the most powerful Mercedes AMG road car ever (and ironically, the least environmentally damaging). It accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds and hurtles on to a maximum speed of 155 mph, which is electronically limited to prevent both excessive power use and battery damage. It also holds the electric car lap record at the Nurburgring with a time of 7 minutes and 56 seconds. Only 8 E-Drive SLS's were produced, and it would be awesome if it featured on GT...

Im an Mercedes Benz Technician, Im not so much into electric cars... lets see... umm.. umm.. mmm.. ok just thisone because its fast BUT!... it is excessively heavy, it still can take some corners

It's got 740 ponies, but it's not quick enough for the HP. Still, it's awesome!!!

You have to remember that it weighs a lot, and that electric motors, like gas turbines, deliver their power and torque in a completely different way to conventional piston engines...

An Electric-fying car!:lol: Okay that was bad I know. How heavy is this thing anyway, compared to "normal" SLS? I'm guessing as much as 300 to 400 pounds? Or should that be in kilos since Germans use metric system?

Its 2,110 kgs, so 4,650lbs. One seriously heavy supercar.
